This year we estimate we have: completed 62 hours of hand weeding, fertilising, and general cleaning used less than 2 litres of fuel to grow the entire crop used 23,000 litres of water during the drought. We plant in August after the soil has been prepared. We like to source some organic fertilisers at that point and then we pray for a little rain. While we could bore you with minute details, we thought a picture was worth a thousand words so here is our growing season for 2018.
