Details: Our turmeric is organically grown turmeric (we are not certified organic). We have two varieties (madras and allepy). Madras is a lighter yellow turmeric which is commonly used for dishes such as mustard pickles, yellow curries and turmeric rice (see our recipe page).
We have been growing turmeric since 2011. We process our turmeric by hand. It is processed to Indian Government standards (which we find to be the highest standard). We process our turmeric in Maitland. We take it from the ground to the jar and it never leaves our sight. We do not outsource any part of the process.
